Monterey Bay Aquarium – Known as one of the best aquariums in the
US, the Monterey Bay Aquarium hosts an other worldly jellyfish display. Be
sure to visit Andrew & April's favorite exhibit: the sea otters.
- Shop in
Carmel-by-the-Sea – Strolling the quaint town of
Carmel-by-the-Sea is a great way to spend an afternoon. The town boasts
whimsical architecture and numerous shops & restaurants. Don't miss the
Cottage of Sweets on Ocean Ave!
- Golf at
Pebble Beach – The game of golf is at its worldwide best at
Pebble Beach Resorts. Play a challenging round at one of their five
legendary courses.
- Taste wine at
Chateau Julien
or
Bernardus Winery
– Enjoy these tasting rooms located within a few miles of one
another on the dramatic Carmel Valley floor. Try Cabernet Sauvignon &
Merlot varietals which make up 70% of the Carmel Valley wine
appellation's well-drained, gravelly terraces.
- Hike at
Point Lobos – From thunderous ocean breakers crashing against
rocky headlands to open grasslands and forested ridges, Point Lobos offers
visitors miles of hiking trails to discover. If you are lucky you
may even spot a sea otter or a whale!
